Monthly Message: September 2007
Fellow Karate-ka:
Talk about a long time from the last
monthly message written, let alone since this site was last seen on the
internet, and you will probably end up in an argument over whom is
right. I am so pleased that the site is back up on the net for all of my
students first, and then for the many world members of the USA-TKA.
It has been a long time but it is back.
There are some kinks that need to be worked out, but it will all be
cleared up in a short period of time. Michael Walker, our webmaster, and
a fine karate practitioner is once again hard at work to make it the
best possible site ever. So please bear with us as we work to correct
its flaws and update several areas..
The link on the Dojo Site for "login" is
not working as of the writing of this message. I'm sure it will be up
soon. This is the link that is essential to students of Nahashu Ryu
Karate Do. It will be up and running as soon as it can.
We are now venturing out to our second
Dojo at the University Club of Memphis. A deal has been struck with the
club management and we will be teaching there on Mondays, Wednesdays,
and Fridays starting in October. We are looking forward to a very large
adult and children class. We will of course, continue to teach at
Christ's Church in Bartlett on Tuesdays and Thursday nights as well.
Be looking for lots of new and exciting
things to happen in the USA-TKA and with Nahashu Ryu Karate Do in the
near future. This site is temporarily parked on a free server, but will
be moved shortly. Also, my monthly newsletter will once again be
available for folks to sign up for free. Be looking for a free e-book on
practice techniques and also information on the long awaited first book
that I wrote. I am in the middle of re-writes as of the date of this
message. You can also catch me in Traditional Karate magazine from time
to time.
I am glad to have the site back on line
and give many thanks to Michael Walker for his continued support. That's
it for this month.
This
is the way.
